Classical and ancient texts, books, encyclopedias, pictures, paintings, and drawings. Starting with nationally designated important cultural property such as the “Otomo Family Texts”., “Takao Shrine Daijingu Family Texts” and “Tachibana Family Texts” the archives organize and store collections of classical texts from the Chikugo area of Japan. The archives also exhibit classical texts from Toyotomi Hideyoshi which attract history research experts from all over the country. If you’re a history buff, this is the place for you. There are also annual special exhibits held too, so be sure not to miss out.
