Created in the 1960’s by Kubota Kosaku, Nokonoshima Island Park is a 10-minute ferry ride from Meinohama Port in Fukuoka City. The park itself is relatively small, but it is well known for its abundant nature. In addition to the plentiful trees, the park is home to any number of seasonal flowers, including cherry blossoms, canola flowers, cosmos, poppies, marigolds, and more, making the spot a popular destination for photography enthusiasts. The park is also equipped with a children’s playground and a barbeque area, perfect for a family outing.
