About Me

Born in Fukuoka and raised in Kumamoto, I studied international communication in Canada for two years after completing college in Japan. Following that, I moved to New York city, the United States, where I spent 12 years working in the service industry, gaining a thorough understanding of hospitality.

In 2011, upon returning to Japan, I leveraged my English skills to work as an English conversation instructor before eventually taking on industrial translation tasks primarily at a major semiconductor manufacturing equipment company.
Being a travel enthusiast, at the age of 40, I embarked on a six-month solo backpacking journey through Southeast Asia, visiting countries such as Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, and Nepal. Through these travels, I discovered the beauty of connecting with people across borders.

In recent years, I obtained a Domestic Travel Manager certification and became a certified local concierge in Kumamoto, with a focus on promoting internationalization and attracting inbound tourism to Kumamoto.
